Hull Creative Group Honored in Two Books Highlighting
Innovative Quality Graphic Design
Boston, MA July 20, 2003 – A variety
of award-winning design and marketing projects by Hull Creative
Group, a design and marketing communications firm, will be
represented in two new books showcasing innovative and inspiring
design.
In Hot Graphics USA, both the newest,
cutting-edge boutique shops as well as recognized giants in
the field are showcased in “a visual tour of new work
from some of the most talented firms in the United States.”
Work by Hull Creative Group to be published
in Hot Graphics spans the breadth of the firm’s
expertise in business to business communications, and includes
an advertising series for St. Vincent’s Comprehensive
Cancer Care, annual reports for Geac Computer Corporation,
MRO Software and Dare Family Services; Web site design for
Justin, Charles & Co. publishers and Boston Harbor Islands;
brochures and catalogues for Allyn & Bacon educational
publishers, Summit Press, MRO Software, and Geac Computer
Corporation; and branding through calendars and posters for
Circadian Technologies.
The Big Book of Color by David E. Carter,
a design resource book focusing on the ways color is used
to create moods and images, selected two Hull Creative Group
projects to augment its section focusing on “friendly
design” — “True Colors,” a direct
mail brochure featuring appealing photographs and bold, vivid
colors to promote the new printing capabilities of Summit
Press, and a Dare Family Services logo integrating warm colors
and playful, accessible imagery to capture the heart of the
work of a Massachusetts social service agency.
“As a design and marketing firm, we believe
in the power of establishing brands and identities that attract
and retain customers. It is extremely gratifying to be recognized
for the quality, variety and range in our work by two distinct
books celebrating the universal visual language of graphic
design,” said Caryl Hull, President, Hull Creative Group.
