Hull Creative Group Recognized in 2004 Aster
Awards Competition for Excellence in Health Care Advertising
Boston, MA May 28, 2004 –
Hull Creative Group, a design and marketing firm, has recently
won the prestigious “Silver” Aster Award for a
new high impact advertising campaign for St. Vincent’s
Comprehensive Cancer Center (SVCCC), New York City. The ad
campaign, which ran in the New York Times, the New
York Post and the New York Daily News, positions
SVCCC as a compassionate state-of-the-art health care facility
offering advanced radiation, chemotherapy and surgical treatments
that improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
Each advertisement features a black and white
photograph of two people relating in a personal way –
a father and son hugging, a couple embracing, a mother holding
her daughter. Tag line above each photograph such as “I
have lung cancer,” or “I have stomach
cancer,” are linked to copy below emphasizing St.
Vincent’s role in helping patients get on with their
lives, followed by succinct text detailing St. Vincent’s
advancements in the field of cancer treatment.
The Aster Awards Program is the nations’
fastest growing healthcare marketing award’s program
dedicated to excellence in medical advertising. Over 1,700
entries from across the nation were judged for their creativity,
typography, production, knowledge transfer and overall quality.
The “Silver” Aster Award places the ad campaign
Hull Creative Group created for St. Vincent Comprehensive
Cancer Center as one of the top 12% of all entries for 2004.
